1. Use short URL’s

2. Don’t use all your space
Twitter gives you 140 charecters to use to get your message out, but you don’t need all of them. The fact is the shorter the message and more to the point that it is, the better chance it’s going to get noticed and clicked. A good rule of thumb is to keep your tweet to 120 characters or less.
3. Catchy title

These kinds of titles are short and to the point. Remember that Twitter and the internet in general is overloaded with information, so much so that we tend to filter out the vast majority of it. So the easier and more straight forward your title, the better your results.
4. Know when to tweet
This will take some time and requires you to have Google analytics or some other analytic related program. Once you know the key times traffic is coming to your site you can use that to concentrate the majority of your tweets. Below is a showing the total number of tweets per hour. This is based on Pacific Time and is only to give you an idea of the numbers involved. When coming up with your tweeting schedule play with different times to find the best results for your site.
5. Don’t Tweet Crap
Twitter is full of useless, pointless garbage. Tweets about headaches, parties, or feeling a kinda happy flood the system. Give your subscribers tweets that have real substance and not garbage. Remember the better the content the better the results.
