Opinions on formspring?!?!?

Opinions on Formspring?!?!?
Well the police came to our school the other day and started warning us to never use formspring, its completely useless and harmful and if you want to talk to people use MSN, facebook, twitter, tumblr, myspace instead
Now apparently schools are using a criteria that if you have formspring and running for leadership in senior years you are out of the question
(basically they search if you have formspring)

Now i know that formspring has a worse reputation that other social networking sites in terms of bullying,
but my question is that why is formspring the main offneder
what facilities and services do they provide (e.g. privacy seetings, format, layout) that makes it easier for bad stuff to occur more often on this site than on others?
thanks
(btw, not saying that facebook, etc is bad, just WHy? formspring has a bad rep

probably because you can anonymously ask questions and its usually idiots who send mean crap on formspring
