Is it strange to want a Blackberry without the data plan?
I’m looking to upgrade from my old Nextel Blackberry and basically don’t want the internet service (but will get it just because I want to be able to text). I understand that Blackberry’s network runs off data so texting goes thru that, I just like the Blackberry interface and functions (tried using other phones but used to Blackberry).
I hear the argument that “what’s the point of having BB without the internet” and understand it to some degree, but I just don’t care about downloading “Who’s the Boss? Season 2″ to my phone or Twittering (you know, the whole manhood thing gets in the way). I just want to handle the most basic of business. What do you think?
I understand that BB internet is MANDATORY (ripoff) just wondering on your opinion.
not really that strange, many people dont want the internet but need to get it for the contract price, on my BB Bold i took off the internet cause i didnt use it that much.
