Any Adsense Users/Entrepreneurs On Here?

I currently run a few blogs, and no matter how hard I try, I cannot get my adsense income above about $250-350 a month. I am trying to make this my full income, but it is very unmotivating to work 8 hours per day, and see that $8 in your adsense account.

I did run an eBay business along with this last year (and made about $18,000), but I was tired of all of the complaints, taxes, fees, etc. and had trouble finding a consistent supply of inventory that was profitable.

So I scrapped eBay to focus on Adsense only, but I just can’t seem to blog or write enough or get enough traffic to boost my income. Any tips or experiences you can share?

I have already maximized the ads, and worked hard. The only area I lack is good promotion, but that is because I am a VERY private person, and I don’t really want to plaster pictures of myself, or create myspace/facebooks/twitters, etc.

Well, no matter how hard you blog, you still won’t get more click. The secret is in traffic and sites like myspace/facebooks/twitters will make the difference and bring you a whole bunch of traffic. Let’s say your CTR is at 2% now, with 100 unique visitors, which means just 2 people click on the ads, when you get 200 visitors and keep the same CTR, automatically you will get 4 click, hence more money. So, instead of one hour of blogging, focus on getting more traffic for your blogs.

The difference looking forward to 2011 is that this is the first time that consumer behavior and mobile platforms have reached sufficient scale for mobile to move beyond an emerging media tactic for mainstream marketers. To help guide marketers during this …
