If The Dollar Sinks Any Lower…….???
If the dollar sinks any lower, will they call it a penny? What happens if the dollar’s value sinks so low that it has no value at all? How will that affect our lives? Would the country have to declare bankruptcy?
Years ago, I used to slip over the Canadian border which isn’t very far from my home, shop and dine and enjoy the fact that my money was worth more than theirs. Now, their money reigns supreme over ours, and they are twittering with amusement over that fact.
I’ll admit I am not economic genius, but what happens if our dollar is worth nothing? Will I have just a few wads of worthless paper in my purse? There must be someone who understands financial matters a little better than I do. What’s the use of investing if the profit you receive is worth zilch?
Then we’ll be like Zimbabwe and paying $15 million for a hamburger.
